2 Night Dives - Goat Island/Matheson Bay

Some of the ocean's most amazing creatures only come out at night, so your dive doesn't have to end when the sun goes down. Join us for 2 night dives in one of our local marine reserves (Goat Island or Matheson Bay), with all dive equipment and a professional dive guide included, and see what comes out after dark!

Have you never done a night dive before? Sign up for your night diver specialty course for only $60 more! You will learn how to safely and comfortably dive at night or in limited visibility conditions and earn the SSI Night Diving and Limited Visibility Specialty certification after completing this program. You´ll get to see big eyes coming out, crayfish wandering on the sand, Stingrays being active and you will see the ocean sparkle with bio-luminescence. 

Start times depends on the time of the year and time of sunset. We usually meet at the dive shop about 1/1,5 hours before sunset.

Overview of the day

- Meet at our dive shop in Warkworth (we will confirm the time after booking)
- Briefing & equipment fitting
- Drive to the dive site (approx. 20-30 mins, please contact us if you don't have your own transport)
- 2 dives with a surface interval on the beach
