Register through this page, verify your information, and complete your profile with a photo and contact details. SSI will immediately provide you with a free digital Crossover Kit in your SSI account. Alternatively, you can register at an SSI Training Center where you plan to collaborate after registration.

Tell Us About Your Current Training Status

Select your current training status with other agencies and upload documentation (Certification Counts, Pro Checks). Upload required documents such as a Medical Statement, First Aid/CPR/O2 Provider certifications, and Proof of Insurance (if required in your country).

Pay Your Registration Fee

Pay the registration fee of 200€ through your online shopping cart before starting your In-Water Training. SSI sponsors the digital Crossover Kit and funds all equivalent Scuba and Freediving certifications. The registration fee includes the practical in-water training, and professional renewal fees until the end of 2025. *Please note that there will be an additional charge of approximately €60 for the physical crossover materials (Pack Dive Professional 471098; Pack Scuba Instructor 471099). These costs will be billed directly by your instructor trainer, where applicable.

Choose Your Virtual Academic Training Date

Select from various available dates and languages worldwide during the registration process and start studying the digital training material. Before attending the Virtual Crossover, all candidates are required to complete their Crossover Materials and finish the Final Exam online.

Select Your Practical In-Water Training Date

Choose from the available Instructor Training Courses and Crossover dates based on your location, also accessible through the guided Crossover Registration Process in MySSI. The In-Water Session requires a 2-hour pool/confined water session for a skills review conducted by an active Assistant Instructor Trainer or higher. Once a practical date is selected.

Become an Active SSI Professional

After passing the In-Water Training, you will receive your SSI Professional Certifications. These certifications grant you access to SSI’s global network, and you can explore opportunities through the Job Database.
